Featuring narrow band radio communications with Datalogic’s STAR Cordless System™, the Gryphon GM4400 reader provides increased productivity and flexibility in the workplace. The GM4400 reader series offer scalable solutions from simple point-to-point applications to point-to-multipoint installations with up to 16 readers connected to the same base station. The GM4400 readers ‘Batch Mode’ capability allows thousands of codes to be stored in its’ memory. This feature, combined with a long-lasting 60,000 scans-per-charge Lithium-Ion battery allows uninterrupted scanning with unlimited mobility. Lightweight and comfortable to use, the steady, dim, deep red illumination light is much easier on the eyes than other similar products with flicker illumination. The highly visible 4-Dot aimer clearly defines the reading zone and the center cross provides a locator for targeting when scanning a sheet or product with multiple bar codes.

Datalogic Aladdin provides customers the opportunity to manage the configuration of handheld products, and allows flexible advanced formatting through an intuitive user interface. The tool also makes it easy for customers to upgrade the handhelds firmware, to attain the benefits of new reader features. Used in combination with the Datalogic USB-COM drivers, supports the following Microsoft ® operating systems: Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, XP and Vista, both 32 and 64-bit versions. To make sure you have latest updated configuration files please select "check for updated configuration library on web" in "Tools" menu. On windows 10, 8.1 and 8, the tool shall be launched in administrator mode to allow the automatic configuration update.

For use on all Windows 32 and 64 bit systems. Certified for Windows including XP, Win7, Win8, and Win10 (RS1 thru RS3); auto detects OS version and installs the appropriate driver. Automatically recognizes and associates with Datalogic Scanning USB-COM equipped products. Enables data coming from the USB port to be seen by the host as if it is coming from a standard COM port (using a host defined virtual COM port). Any existing software application supporting serial communications can utilize USB scanner connectivity simply by redirecting the data input to the defined virtual COM port. Improved installation with no need for Admin privileges. "USB composite" scanner interface is not supported on Windows XP Operating system.
